Big Daddy Kane

If the zeitgeist of the late-80's urban America could be represented in one individual, it most certainly would be in Big Daddy Kane. Raised on the hardscrabble streets of Brooklyn, the Biz Markie cohort and lyricist grew to become one of rap's most prodigious MC's and writers, with groundbreaking solo LP's (the first two of them gold) and more than 30 hits plus commercial, soundtrack, and movie appearances (The Meteor Man, Posse) to his credit.

His hits include "Raw", "Smooth Operator", "I Get The Job Done" and "Pimpin' Ain't Easy".
